Heyde Sewing Machine Company is the oldest and largest sewing, quilting, and embroidery machine dealer in the Midwest. We are proud to be a factory authorized dealer for Brother, Bernina, and Handi-Quilter. In our 12,000 square foot showroom, you will find one of the largest displays of sewing, quilting, and embroidery machines in the USA. We also service what we sell. We are a factory-authorized service center, and we support, and service all makes and models. 

Heyde Sewing Machine Company has an immediate opening for a sewing machine repair person. We are looking for the right person to grow with us as we continue to expand our operations.

What We require;

A good attitude.

A good work ethic and able to work 40 hours per week Monday thru Friday. Able and willing to work overtime on an “as needed” basis.

Verifiable work experience in assembly or repair of Electro-Mechanical equipment.

Ability to lift 70 pounds.

A valid drivers license and the ability to drive company vehicles.

Able to read assembly instructions, repair instructions.

Familiar with computers and able to navigate You Tube and similar web sites.

Sewing machine experience would be a plus but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities Include;

Sewing machine repairs, vacuum cleaner repairs, assemble sewing furniture, unload freight, keep warehouse organized, interact with retail customers, deliver and set-up sewing machines and furniture in customer’s homes.

Compensation.

$14-$24 per hour based upon experience.
