Peaceful Garden Block-of-the-Month Quilt

The Peaceful Garden Machine Embroidered Block-of-the-Month Quilt 2026 is a comprehensive quilting program designed for enthusiasts interested in machine embroidery and quilting techniques. The program begins on February 9th, with classes scheduled from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and continues for five months, meeting on the second Monday of each month. This structured schedule allows participants to develop their skills progressively while working on a cohesive project.

The initial session focuses on fabric selection, providing participants with guidance on choosing appropriate fabrics that complement the quilt's theme. This foundational class is a lecture and demonstration, offering tips on machine applique techniques and instructions for piecing the quilt. Participants will learn how to assemble the quilt top efficiently, ensuring a professional finish.

Throughout the program, participants will explore various machine embroidery and quilting techniques. The subsequent classes will delve into using four custom quilting designs, with detailed instructions on how to incorporate these designs into their quilts. The program emphasizes edge-to-edge quilting, utilizing embroidery machines to achieve uniform and intricate quilting patterns. This approach allows participants to create a polished, finished quilt that showcases their skills and creativity.

The final class is dedicated to completing the quilt, providing guidance on finishing techniques and final assembly.
