LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP MAKE FIDGET BLANKETS FOR DONATION
Would you like to volunteer to help Heyde Sewing and St. Louis Masonic organization with their Service project in making Fidget blankets to be donated to Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Stroke, and other memory-related conditions?
Heyde's will supply the machines and thread, and some fabric.
If you have any supplies that you would like to use to help with these blankets, please bring them along!
Supplies can include soft flannel, minky, or fleece fabric.
Decorations: Leftover wool, strings, buttons, zippers, buckles, bells, textured fabric, soft toys, squishy and squeaky items, key rings, beads, and more.
- Pot Luck snacks and Drinks
- Not all volunteers need to know how to sew; they can decorate, cut fabric and separate items.
