Heyde Sewing Machine Co. is the largest dealership in the Midwest, with over 5500 square feet of retail space. It is your one-stop shopping center, with 6000+ bolts of 100% cotton fabric, along with backings and battings. Also, we offer a wide selection of sewing and quilting notions, embroidery designs, books, and patterns.

We believe every consumer is entitled to quality service both before, and after,  they purchase a machine from us!  Maybe that's why Brother International has named our store one of the top five dealers in the USA for sales and service.

We offer an in-house service department, operated by two full-time factory trained technicians who are qualified to repair all brands of household sewing, embroidery and serger machines. All of our repairs are backed by a 30-day guarantee. The usual turn around time is within seven days, with a 24-hour rush available for a nominal fee.

Our store offers classes for sewists of all skill levels, including quilting, embroidery and serging. We have several monthly quilting clubs, as well as a Kids Club for youth. Our large classroom is equipped with new sewing machines for your use, at no charge. Or if you prefer, you can bring your own. We continually update our class list and samples of class projects are available in our store.

We'll do our best to match the price. Must have it in writing from the store or website with information. Price matches are valid only BEFORE you place your order. When comparing prices, availability, shipping and taxes will be included in our price match decision.

Unopened: Unopened merchandise that can be returned to the manufacturer may be returned for a refund less all shipping cost. This means that the merchandise must be in a factory sealed box with the seal unbroken. Shipping is non-refundable, and items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have outbound shipping fees deducted from the refund. All returns are subject to inspection before refund is given. Some items may be subject to a re-stocking fee of 15% or more. This may or may not be indicated on the product page.

Opened: Opened merchandise that can be returned to the manufacturer can not be returned

Software: Software and embroidery designs open can not be returned, due to copy writing.

special orders  Any items not inventoried can not be returned

Factory Defects: We will repair or replace any unit within the first 30 days of purchase if the manufacturer determines it to be defective in material and workmanship. If the unit cannot be repaired within 30 days of purchase we will replace the unit. We have to see the unit first to determine if the problem you are having is covered by warranty.

We will reimburse you for ground shipping expense in the continental U.S. for authorized returns on warranty repairs in the first 30 days from the date of purchase. We will not accept COD returns.

Shipping Damage

UPS  Please inspect your package when you receive it from the shipping carrier. If you notice any damage from shipping, please contact is at 314-843-1168 to report the damage. You must contact us within 5 business days. Make sure that you keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, packing material, etc...), as the shipping carrier will come to inspect the package.

Cancellation Policy

Because of our automated order processing system, orders are electronically approved and transmitted when you submit the order. As a result, there are no cancellations unless one of your items is on backorder. Changes cannot be made to your order once it is processed. If you want to add to your order, simply place a new order. Call us at 314-843-1168 immediately for help if your order contains an error. If you decide to cancel a backordered item and it has already shipped, you must follow the returns procedures stated above.


Refusal of Shipment

If you refuse a shipment you will be charged for shipping of the product both ways. On some products, a restocking fee will apply. This will be indicated on the product page. A refund or store credit will be issued for the difference.

Shipping Policy

Carriers
Most packages shipped from UPS or USPS. We can not take requests for the shipping carrier. Please make sure that you give us an accurate street address that can be delivered to. Delivery quotes are for business days only. Shippers do not ship on Saturday or Sunday and do not count those days in quotes.

APO/AEO
We do not ship Military using APO, AEO.

Freight Information
All industrial machines with table, stand, and motor and many of our cabinets are shipped via freight truck. These shipments can't be expedited even if expedited service shows up as an option in the shopping cart. Most freight rates are a flat $200

International Orders
We do not ship international orders

United States Shipping
We ship most orders by UPS or POST Office (USPS) in the Contiguous 48 States Alaska and Hawaii only ship via 2nd day or next day air.
