HEYDE CLASS LIST We will continue to update our class list. When
you stop in take a look at the samples and our class board. Please E-mail
me with your suggestion on classes/clubs that you would like to take.heydesewing@sbcglobal.net It
is necessary for you to PREREGISTER AND PRE-PAY FOR ALL CLASSES. NO NAME will be added to our class list until you pay in
full. Classes fill quickly. Please register early to avoid disappointment. You will be notified if a class that you have registered
for is filled or cancelled. If a class is cancelled you will be given the choice of another class, or a full refund. Should
you need to cancel a class, please do it as early as possible, so that we can refund you the full amount? No refunds or transfers
within 7 days of class unless class is cancelled. If there is a supply list, you will be given that at the time you pre-pay
and register. Supplies are not included in the class fee unless noted. Clubs and Classes in the evening will be canceled if it snows.
Please bring your basic sewing supplies to every sewing class along with you own rotary cutters. Machine-use: If you would like to use a store machine, please reserve one when
you register. Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to get an overview on operating the machine

In this class you will learn to use
Karla’s stacking and shuffling methods to create a stunning "plaid" quilt. Don’t be intimidated by the
pattern, it looks much more complicated than it actually is. We’ll work step by step through the stacking, slicing,
shuffling and sewing of the blocks. It is fun to start with some squares and strips and see interesting new blocks revealed
after each stack and shuffle. |

Saturday March 14th 12-3pm Fee $35 will included embroidery designs of letters Designed by Holly Holderman, pattern written by Penny Sturges of Quiltsillustrated. Approx 50 1/2" square before
quilting, prairie points, and binding. Letters are embroidery. Designs will come with class. If you do not have an embroidery
machine, the letter will be done for you.

Hallye Bone will be at Heyde's to appraise on March 12 and 13 from 10:00
to 3:00. Call 314-843-1168 to make an appointment. Hallye is an appraiser, certified by the American Quilter's Society in Paducah, qualified to evaluate
your quilt, old or new. Interesting fact: many new quilts appraised value is higher than an old quilt because
fabric costs and labor has gone up. An appraisal can be used for your insurance needs, when you are mailing a quilt, and tells the recipient of a gift
quilt how valuable it is. Hallye
has written the book "Caring for Your Quilts," published by the Kansas City Star Books. She will be happy
to sell you one and autograph it for you when you get your appraisal. |
